They tried for alien Dracula. They failed The promotional material for this movie makes it look as if they were trying to out-scary Dracula, which was a hype at this time, but this movie does not have the heart of Dracula movies (although there have been some stinkers). It is typical cold-ware fare; xenophobia, fantasticism, all that good stuff. It is by no means a bad movie, but it certainly is not one of the all-time greats.
